Administration Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have released a new tranche of what they described as "troubling" photographs from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—along with another 70 released later on Friday account for a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is probing the actions and ties of Epstein.

The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York detention cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking charges.

Prominent Personalities in the Images

Featured among the high-profile individuals seen in the first release are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is pictured with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Statement

The White House responded to the release in a official comment, charging Democrats of selectively "hand-picking" the images for partisan aims and to "try and create a false storyline."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," an administration official remarked, insisting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by frequently urging disclosure, releasing reams of documents, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."

Panel Member Comment

The images were released lacking captions, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and ranking member of the investigative panel, they raise more questions about Epstein's associations with wealthy individuals.

"It is time to halt this White House cover-up and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he declared in a release.

The disclosure of these images coincides with the oversight committee continuing its probe into the Epstein matter.
