Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed operations throughout the Middle East in response for a "massive" and ongoing attack targeting the nation by the US and Israel.

Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an area in the area of the main base of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any impact is uncertain and the American officials has yet to issue a statement.

Airspace Engagements

In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and the State of Kuwait - which all house American military installations - stated they have intercepted missiles in their territorial skies.

In Doha, Qatar's defence ministry said it had intercepted a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the region.

IRGC Statement

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard said in a statement it was striking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the offensive on the Islamic Republic carried out by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.

That US-Israeli operation - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck areas linked to the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the people of Iran to revolt against the government.

Wider Impacts

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israeli military stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.

The Ministry of Defence of the UAE announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"UAE air defence systems responded to the missiles with great effectiveness and destroyed a series of missiles," it added.

The statement noted debris fell on a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some property damage and killing a civilian.
